Double-checking is usually highly recommended in many sections, but the PTE Highlight Incorrect Words task is an exception.

You’d better trust your first answer to avoid confusion.
The only case you should change your highlight is when you’re really sure about it.
The fast pace of the recording or the content difficulty can be a challenge for you.

However, guessing may help only when it’s based on logic.

You can do it by reading the transcript, trying to understand its meaning, and identifying words that are illogical to stay in the text.
