Moni Vuong, co-founder of PTE Magic and Lume Test, is Vietnam’s representative named in the Bett Asia EdTech 10 List 2025. The curated list honors 10 outstanding women in transforming education through technology.
The Bett Asia EdTech Conference and Expo announced the Bett Asia EdTech 10 List 2025 on October 1 to recognize women who have pioneered in using technology to transform education.
According to Bett Asia, these inspiring faces are “breaking barriers and redefining the future of education through innovation and technology.” Moni Vuong, along with other leaders from Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, marks the international recognition of Vietnamese women in the Edtech sector.
At 34, Moni Vuong (Hanoi), the co-founder of PTE Magic and Lume Test, is the only Vietnamese woman on the list. Speaking about the award, Moni shared her pride when demonstrating that Vietnamese women can create internationally recognized EdTech products.
“I hope my journey can inspire more women and young people to dream big and explore the power of education and technology,” she stated.
Starting her career as an English teacher, Moni Vuong, together with her team, built PTE Magic into a leading PTE training center in the region. The brand now operates 10 centers across Vietnam, Australia, and the Philippines, helping over 300,000 learners from 50+ countries worldwide.
From that success, Moni developed Lume Test – an AI-powered platform for English test preparation, supporting learners to conquer exams like IELTS, PTE, TOEIC, and Duolingo English Test (DET).
Lume Test integrates an automatic 4-skill scoring system, analyzes learning progress, and tailors training courses, offering a personalized, cost-effective, and efficient learning experience.
Along with the learning platform, the team also developed Lume Eduhub – a Learning Management System (LMS) for teachers and language centers. This system allows users to track learning progress, automate scoring, and manage classes, improving teaching efficiency in the digital era.
Introduced in 2023, Lume Test focuses on democratizing English testing – making English test preparation more accessible through technology. The platform has attracted tens of thousands of users in Vietnam and other Asian countries. It is highly praised for the ability to recreate real tests, accurate scoring, and an extensive question bank. The developer team aims to expand its presence into India, Thailand, and Indonesia next year.
The Bett Asia EdTech 10 List is an annual feature of the Bett Asia conference, which is the biggest EdTech event in the region, gathering government leaders, experts, founders, and EdTech organizations from over 30 countries. The 2025 curated list honors 10 women who significantly contribute to harnessing technology to promote lifelong education, bridging educational gaps, and creating positive social impact.
