What Is a PTE Voucher Used For?

A PTE voucher is a 12-digit alphanumeric code that allows you to book the PTE tests at a discounted rate. Applying this code when scheduling your exam on the Pearson website will enable you to cover the PTE exam fees without additional payment.

There is a minimum requirement of buying 10 vouchers per order, which makes them ideal for institutions or groups of students.

Whether taking the test in person or online, you can use the PTE voucher to book one of three main test types: PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI, or PTE Home.

How to Get Your Pearson PTE Voucher?

Step 1: Visit The Pearson Voucher Store And Choose A PTE Test

First, you can visit the Pearson Voucher Store online, where you’ll find various vouchers for different tests.

Next, select the test type that suits your needs, including PTE Academic, UKVI, and PTE Home. Download the pricing spreadsheet for each test type to ensure you have the latest prices, as they can change. Besides, the listed prices do not include additional discounts, taxes, or promotions.

Step 2: Fill In Your Details And Submit

Next, you need to download the voucher order form. Different regions have specific forms: the Americas, Europe, China, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

This form cannot be filled out online, so download it to your computer and open it using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Fill out all required fields marked with an asterisk (*), and avoid using special characters. After that, enter the price and currency shown in your region’s pricing chart.

Step 3: Complete The Payment Process

You can pay via Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, money transfer, or check. If you pay by bank transfer or check, you’ll receive an invoice with payment instructions.

Processing your order takes about 4 days after payment. However, vouchers will not be available until payment is approved. For faster service, you can use a credit card.

Finally, when your payment is processed, you’ll receive your PTE practice test discount code via email.

How to Redeem Your PTE Voucher?

Redeeming PTE vouchers is a simple process, much like booking the exam, but without needing to enter payment details. Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1: Visit the Pearson PTE Official website

First, go to the Pearson website and click “Sign in.” Then, fill out the form with your details, including your email and password, to log in to your PTE account.

Step 2: Choose your test location and schedule

Once logged in, you can choose your preferred test location and the date and time that works best for you. Then, follow the prompts to answer the booking questions.

Step 3: Enter your voucher code

When you reach the payment step of the booking process, simply enter your PTE voucher code in the designated field. The code covers the cost of the exam, allowing you to complete the booking without providing additional payment details.

5 Important Things to Keep In Mind When Using Your PTE Voucher

Test Type And Country-Specific

Each voucher is only used for the specific PTE test types and countries you choose when purchasing them. It means a voucher for the PTE Academic exam can’t be applied to a PTE Home test. You can’t also utilize a voucher bought for a test in one country to book a test in another.

Minimum Order Requirement

You must buy at least 10 vouchers for each order. Thus, it’s suitable for educational institutions or groups of students planning to take the PTE exam.

Pre-Paid And Non-Refundable

Vouchers are purchased upfront and cannot be returned or refunded. Therefore, when you buy a voucher, you cannot get a refund or return it. Be certain of your plan before purchasing.

Processing And Delivery

Pearson will process your vouchers electronically and send them to your email in a downloadable Excel spreadsheet format. It’s best to provide a correct and accessible email so you can receive your vouchers without any issues.

Expiration Date

PTE vouchers expire 12 months after they are issued. This expiration date can’t be extended under any circumstances. Thus, it’s best to take the exam before the voucher’s expiry.

Conclusion

Getting PTE vouchers is a smart way to save on your test fees while planning your study or immigration journey. You can easily obtain and redeem your vouchers by following the above steps. Start today to make your PTE experience more affordable and hassle-free!
