The steps in your myPTE account: sign in, then open “View Score” or “My Activity”.
According to Pearson, your Score Report stays valid for two years from your test date. Keep the PDF for your own records, but downloading it is not the same as sending your scores. Institutions receive PTE Academic scores electronically through Pearson, not as a PDF, either when you send them from myPTE or when you give them your Score Report Code (SRC).
For PTE Core, Pearson’s PTE Core page says scores are shared automatically with IRCC for Canadian immigration. For any other organisation, check what the receiving institution asks for.
Result not there yet? Pearson says PTE results are typically ready within 48 hours and can take up to five working days. After five working days, Pearson recommends checking your spam or junk folder and your myPTE account. If your score is ready but you cannot see it, try again later: Pearson says it should be available within 24 hours, and if it is not, contact Pearson through its Customer Support form, which Pearson says is the fastest way to resolve the issue. How to Send Your PTE Scores to Universities
How Does PTE Score Transmission Work?
PTE Academic candidates can send their scores electronically through myPTE or share their Score Report Code (SRC) with the receiving organisation. Sending scores through myPTE is free. You can send to an unlimited number of institutions in total, up to seven at a time.
Sending through myPTE is for PTE Academic. For PTE Core, Pearson shares scores automatically with IRCC for Canadian immigration (see the box above), so check what any other recipient asks for.

For PTE Academic, follow these steps to send your Score Report to universities and other eligible institutions:

- Open My Activity: Find the completed test whose results you want to share.
- Select Send Scores: Click “Send Scores” next to the relevant test.
- Search for the institution: Enter the institution’s name in the “Institution / Organization / Department / School” search field and click “Search.”
- Select your recipients: Tick the checkbox next to each relevant institution. You can select up to seven recipients in one submission.
- Review and submit: Check your details and follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your selection and submit the order.

Sending your scores is free. You can share them with additional institutions by repeating the process. After submission, allow approximately 48 hours for the receiving institution to access your score through Pearson’s system.
Using Your Score Report Code (SRC) for Score Verification
The Score Report Code (SRC) is a unique 10-character code that appears at the top of a PTE Score Report. It enables participating organizations to access and validate your score reports using Pearson’s online score verification system.
For PTE Academic, you can give your SRC to an organization, which can then look up your Score Report on Pearson’s score verification site without you sending it through myPTE.
Institutions verify PTE scores with the Score Report Code (SRC) on Pearson’s electronic verification platform.
