Besides the registration fee, here are other PTE Core fees you may need to know:
Candidates can cancel their booking, regardless of reasons.
The time of cancellation defines whether you can receive a refund or not.
If you cancel the test at least 14 days before the exam occurs, you can get a complete refund.
50% of the registration fee will be returned to you if your cancellation happens at least 7 days before the booking date.
However, there’s no refund if you cancel before the exam takes place less than 7 days in advance.
Candidates won’t be charged if they reschedule the exam.
However, the rescheduling process should be at least 14 days before the test.
And if you have less than 14 days until your exam date, you won’t be able to change it.
Note that there’s also the limitation of maximum 6-time rescheduling.
Pearson accepts reservations for a test slot up to 48 hours before it happens.
In this case, candidates need to pay the late payment fee, which varies depending on the country.
Before paying for your test, ensure you have an account on the PTE official website.
Step 1. Log into your account and choose “Book Now.”
Step 2. Select a test center, date, and time.
Step 3. After the booking process, a payment page will be displayed.
Step 4. Choose your payment method, input the required data, and complete the process.
Don’t forget to double-check all information before submitting it.
The fee varies based on the exchange rates, taxes, and local economic conditions.
The difference is usually from 5% to 24%, depending on the country and region.
Pearson makes it easy for candidates to pay for the exam through various methods.
You can choose to pay by debit cards and Visa cards (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express).
You can also pay through digital methods, such as Google or Apple Pay.
